connecting off shifts and on shifts!

omg! I worked Monday to Thurs off Thurs night, so I tried to stay awake so that I would be able to sleep thurs night , crashed st 5pm! slept til 12midnight! now im wide awake ugh!!! feeling frustrated right now!

  • My sleep is always so messed up, too. It makes exercise so hard because the times I'm awake and ready to work out aren't always at acceptable times.

    I totally understand how you feel! I try to stay awake all the time when shifting off for a stretch. I usually crash in the afternoon and end up frustrated when I wake up b/c I have missed spending time with my husband (he works days).

    I try to rationalize staying up by thinking how I don't want to "lose" a day off. Ironically, I am about to shift off for 6 days and I know I just need to take a nap for about 3-4 hours to be refreshed and still have plenty of daylight left....but....I have a ton of stuff to accomplish today and praying that I don't crash and miss girl's night out! lol :)))
