IMO if you've fallen down and can't get up you have a big problem!
The Turkish Get Up, or just Get Up, is a great little exercise to work on to stay "functional". It's also a great addition to your core work. Feel free to break down the exercise into single movements and work those a few times in a row before moving to the other parts.
This is also a great movement for a quick full body work out.
