I had some rice cakes with ham, tomato and low fat cheese. I wasn't very hungry and I'd been at the beach for a couple of hours as we're having a heat wave here. I'm really stuck in a rut with my dinners lately, they usually consist of a green salad with either grilled chicken or beef which I'm heartily sick of. I try to avoid takeaways and when you live by yourself you tend to eat the whole pizza and not just a few slices :embarassed:

I find winter cooking much easier, especially soups which I divide up and freeze. Just heat and eat!

Where are you at to have a heat wave? I know when it hot I don't get hungry, just salads and melons

My husband cooked a tri tip on the bbq, which was marinated in a soy sauce, ginger, garlic, green onions and chile peppers rice vinegar , I had the same marinated for my Tofu, which I had cut firm tofu into strips, and pan seared them.
our stir fry veggies were Carrots, mustard greens, Chinese broccoli, white onion, celery, with minced ginger and garlic.
and Brown Tsuri rice. I made a soy sauce and corn starch to make it all saucy......now when I was shopping and put tofu in the cart my husband was oh gross your not feeding me that etc, but I saw this amazing recipe on Pinterest...so i had to try it. and it was a success for my whole family. :)

it was a lazy Saturday here.
