Hi, I've never dieted before in my life. I tried counting calories for a few months last year and it worked wonders. I've always been curious about diets so hey, why not try one?
It sounds like a lot of the negative viewpoints on this one are related to people who put weight back on very quickly once they stopped the program. Is it really that hard to stay on track? I think it's nice that you still get to make 1 meal a day for yourself and just eat weird powdered things for the other 4.
Today is day 1 for me. I would love any insight (or success stories) from anybody who is on the journey as well!

Well, I can tell you that it does come back very fast if you don't use the transition plan...I fell off the wagon and gained 12 lbs in 3 weeks. Then it took a month to lose 10 lbs. however, this is the only diet that I have ever tried hat does work. Some times it's a little slow but eventually, there is a loss. I have done a ton of different diets. I actually thought that it was physically impossible for me to lose weight at one point. I know there will be some yo yo scale jumping. So accept that and move on! Good luck!0

Well u actually eat 5 Medifast meals a day and 1 lean and green meal not all the MF meals r powdery..haha and there r great OP recipes but be sure to verify with Nutritional Support there are some false recipes... www.sandyskitchenadventures.com is a wonderful site Choc full and Sandy was on Medifast too she is having a baby so currently off;) But anyway the plan works as ling as u follow it 100% read your quick start guide and utilize your coach and stick to it. When in doubt get online and read through the guides under downloads on the TSFL or Medifast website don't just guess. Weigh everything there is a veggie chart and I can email it to u just need your email address it makes it simple and I'm eating wayyy more Veggies now that j am weighing them accurately on a flat top food scale;) I have been on Medifast since Aug 20,2011 I was 268lbs 5'7.5" and 6 months later an now 188.2lbs;) My goal weight is 150;) it is important to go through transition properly and 100% when u reach goal weight it last 6 weeks and then to follow the maintenance program;) This is set up so u don't gain the weight back. Also if u haven't already invest in Dr. A's Habits of Health book and workbook because if u don't change tour habits u will go back to the old ones that made u sick and fat in the first place....no off plan days or nibbled or acceptable no matter how much u EXCUSE yourself u will only sabatoge tour weightloss and waste money...This plan works if u do. Don't try to reinvent the wheel just follow the plan 100% and u will achieve your goals.Journal, track and weigh as often as u deem necessary;)0
