    Hi,

    I am new to the group. I just joined today. I am really excited to really challenge myself and be pushed to hit some big goals. I do not have a gym membership and my bike is broken so I will be doing all my miles on foot. My goal for the end of the month is 20 miles.

    3/22 - 1.02 miles

    18.98 miles remaining.

    I am hoping to get another mile or two in between rain showers this afternoon.

    Even though I started a week into March after being on vacation, I have surpassed my goal of 80 miles, thanks to the gorgeous, unseasonable weather we have been having and the 16-mile bike ride I did today. I bumped my goal up to 100. Even if the weather should turn bad and I can't bike, I think I can make the 100.

    Here's an idea... I decided to walk the equivalent from Seattle area to Phoenix in 2012. That's a bit more than 100 miles a month. I am tracking my "walk" with Google Maps... it's an idea for you that is fun and for me, it's really motivating! Here is how I chart it:

    Awesome idea!!! It really does keep you motivated to have a goal like that. Last month a few of us added up our miles and collectively biked/ran from New York to Myrtle Beach!

    1 mile running. : ( Went with the running club and we gave up because of all the rain.... we figure we need a break for tomorrows half marathon anyway.

    Yay! Looks like I'll finally make it this month! I got my bike out this week and rode a few miles, took my friend's dog on a long walk one day, and started the Bridge to 10K program this week. Lovin' this nice weather!
