Was not happy this morning when I weighed myself - only down 1/2 lb of the lb I had gained back. Decided to do a "before" pic of some jeans I tried on the other day that wouldn't even come close to closing. Well, couldn't do the pic, because the jeans fit!! So I was almost late for work, cuz I was trying on all my jeans that I haven't been able to get into! Wore a pair to work that I haven't been able to get in to for a YEAR!! So it's not always the scale - I have lost INCHES!! Happy day! :)

So glad to hear this! Because my scale is on crack these days! I've never taken measurements but I need to start doing it.... once I throw my scale out of the second story window, measurements will be all I have left! ;)

Congrats on the jeans!! I'm wearing my old pants now too and loving it!
  • I'm very happy for you. It just reiterates the importance of taping with a measuring tape. Nothing tells the story more than pulling tape. The scale can be so incredibly frustrating because of water weight causing gains and flexuations on the scale. Enjoy the new, old wardrobe.

Yeahhh! I know how that feels!

It's so much a better measurement than weight. I think.

    Congratulations! Well done you!

Yeah there are times when I can go for weeks with no loss, but the clothes fit better, I just use the scale as a general reference, but the way things fit as a real guage of success.
