Yes, I agree...the Glenn/Hersel talk was very nice....
HAHAHAHAHA I almost forgot about Rick's stern talking to....0 -
Sorry, just a shameless bump so i can follow along.
Is anyone else annoyed that Carl left a perfectly good gun out in the woods?
Almost as sad as Dale, maybe even more. Stole a perfectly good 45 from Daryl, who shouldn't have it on him anyways so serves him right. Also as a gun geek, it bugs me that Shane is not only going holsterless, but is now appendix carrying a Glock (no safety). very dangerous for the nads.0 -
I don't want Lori to die. I want her to become zombified right before the baby is born and then they have to try to deliver the baby while she is trying to eat their faces.
I love your brain. (And not necessarily in the way that zombies love brains)
That didn't work out so well in Dawn of the Dead 2004.0 -
If they were not going to integrate Randall they should have left him on the fence. After all the torture and mistreatment there is no way Randall could ever join the group. There would be too much animosity.
Dale getting killed was shocking. I didn't see that coming.
Carl is annoying the hell out of me. He needs to either be watched like a child and treated like an adult and included in everything.0 -

What happened? Was the baby a zombie?0 -

NO ONE should be going off alone. Ever. Period. Why is this not common sense?0 -

That was such a great scene too, nothing but murphy's law going on there.0 -
I wasn't a Dale fan - but when he lifted his head to the gun - it broke my heart. Carl needs his *kitten* whooped. But since he was not being supervised - no one can discipline him.
And I think Randall will get free (obviously from the preview for the next epi) and maybe he'll find that gun in the woods that the little jacka$$ dropped.0 -

This is a brilliant twist!!!! That would be awesome!
What if she gave birth to the baby then broke free and ate it. Mmmm... baby.0 -

Mannnn I just finished watching it and I'm disappointed Dale is dead...he was one of the few left who still had any hope for humanity.

What happened?
The mom died and turned into a zombie. The father kept it a secret and kept the zombie mom alive tied up in their room. Because the mom died the baby died and turned into a zombie so when she gave birth it was a zombie baby.0 -

Good summary. Yep, the implication was since mom and baby share the same body systems, the infection spread to the baby as soon as the mom was infected. Great movie by the way.0 -
But Lori NEEDS to die. Okay I don't have a real reason of why, I just don't like her. And I hate Rick's face. He always has this drunken look to him and he "thinks" too much. Poor T-Dog lol. He got two words out before getting cut off. I keep forgetting he's even in this show :laugh:0
-
I'm with ya, I hope Lori gets it the most. Rick doesn't bother me as much cause he has his bad *kitten* moments, but he's still whiny and way too wishy washy.
"T-Dog, get a shotgun!" They really have no idea what to do with his character. haha0 -

I think Carl's been spending waaay too much time with Shane. I understand that it's probably shocking for a kid in a world that has changed so drastically, but he's turned into a smart-mouth little brat. I was kind of hoping that Carol would back-hand him. Do you guys think he's going to admit to anyone else what happened in the woods? I wonder if the guilt of knowing that he was more or less responsible for Dale's death will serve as an attitude adjuster?
As for Dale, I was sad to see him go. I always liked his character, and I admired that he didn't let go of his values when the **** hit the fan. I agree that Randall should have been offed, but I understand where Dale was coming from. That being said, I'd probably be one of the first few people eaten by the zombies. :P
I absolutely think that Randall is bad news. He's a smooth talker, like that guy from the bar. He just has that sneaky, cold look about him. I think that Shane and Rick should have just told everyone that they were going to set him free, and shot him on the side of the road somewhere.
the conversation between Hershel and Glen was quite possibly my favorite part of the episode, aside from the few seconds where I thought we were going to see a zombie cow. Hershel's starting to grow on me, which means that he'll probably get eaten any time now. :P0 -

So I think Shane should die because he's a total tool, and he can't be trusted. Plus if Shane was gone Daryl may get more screen time! Clearly Daryl should be more of a leader in the group. Did anyone else notice when Dale went to talk to him and the conversation turned to Otis's death? Dale was like ' did Shane tell you he killed him?" And Daryl said something along the lines of "Shane told everyone Otis told him to run and he would cover him. So how did Shane end up coming back to the farm with Otis's gun?" Daryl is clearly the only one with any common sense AND he was the only one with enough balls to put Dale out of his misery when Rick couldn't handle it! And about the gun Carl left in the woods, I am hoping he goes back for it and shoots Shane in the face with it!
I Love You Daryl Dixon! Lol0 -
I'm happy Dale died, I just wish it was at the hands of Shane. I felt a little bad at first when i saw him getting killed, but then i realized i would never have to hear him again0

Like Dale or not, now he's gone. I was happy they ran the story arc with him being the voice of morality. Even though I agree that the kid has to be killed, I like the idea that someone caused the rest of them to pause and consider their actions. It's this kind of moral dilemma in a changing world that the story was examining. Now the story can move on from him and we can see if anyone will pick up his mantle.
Dale being killed by Shane would not have been in Shane's character. Shane struggled with the killing of Otis and did it thinking of Carl and his "tribe." As brutal as it was, it was not cold-blooded murder. It was not purely selfish. Shane killing Dale for being a moral voice and making accusations would have been.0 -
And in a round about way, Shane did kill Dale, because Shane shot Otis to bring the meds back to Carl, so Carl could get healed up, so he could wander around in the woods and lose a perfectly good pistol after throwing stones a zombie, who got so pissed that he broke free and went on to not only killed Dale but ruined a perfectly good cow. So there, be happy already.0

I like how all that came right back to Shane  If Shane would've let Carl die then there would be no need for them to stay at the farm, Dale would still be alive, Shane (if still alive) would have hair, the group would've never found Sophia, Carol would've never put all her respect and trust into Daryl, T-Dog would probably get more air time cause of the smaller setting they would be in (RV or other vehicle), Glenn and Maggie would've never gotten to the point of falling in love, and Lori wouldn't have had a reason to bring on the "woman's place" argument.
So yeah maybe it is all Shane's fault.0 -
Did T-Dog ever bring that shotgun?0

You guys better cut T-dog some slack. He's had a rough season. He was almost killed by a parked car in the first episode of this season.0 -
If walkers are eating every body... why did Sofia turn into a zombie instead of just being zombie food?0

Can't remember if they showed a bite on her. Maybe she died from the elements or exposure and came back without being bit? Maybe she did get a bite or "scratch" from a lone zombie and was able to slip away? Zombism...not an exact science.0
