Should I advance?

Hello,
I am on day 7 of level one, so I know I still have a few days to go, but I'm a bit worried about moving on because I can't do the un-modified push-ups yet.
Is it ok to still do modified push-ups, or should I wait until I can do them all correctly before moving on?

I advanced to level 2 even though I was still doing the modified push-ups after 10 days of level 1. I was doing the advanced moves for pretty much everything else by the end of level 1, though. Level 2 involves a lot of upper body work which for me is very necessary since my upper body strength stinks. I still can't do a full push-up, but I figure I'll just work at it til I can. Overall, doing a real push-up is not that important to me right now, although it would be nice. Good luck!

How are doing with the other exercises? If you're doing well with those, then perhaps it's time to move on after a full 10 days of Level 1.

I can do only about 10-15 unmodified push-ups, then I really have to switch to modify for the rest of the time. Perhaps you can set a goal of 3, 5, 8, 10, etc., unmodified per session?

I am on Day 9, and I still can do the side lunges with the anterior dumbbell raises. Soooo hard! I also can't do the lunges with bicep curls for the full time. But I try to do as many as a I can!
  • Well, I finished day 10 level 1! I can do the first set of push-ups, but the second set is a no-go.
Those side lunge raises kill me too! I can just barely get through them- but if I were to do full out push-ups, I know I would be compromising the rest of the workout.
I'm really excited to get to Level 2.....the repetition is starting to get a bit old!

I could not do all full push ups before I moved on.
I moved on to level 2 anyway and on day 2 I already feel stronger with my upper body.
