Hiya Wellness Warriors!
Even though it's technically Tuesday, it may be our emotional hump day. You may hit your first real wall today. Brava! Hit it and climb it champ. It's really just a speed bump. You may feel some physical detox symptoms, such as fatigue, headaches, a foggy brain, skin rashes, and muscle weakness. That's okay; it's normal. your body will jump at the opportunity to remove stored toxins. This is training wheels week, so stay where you are and grin and bear it.
FOCUS
In your mind's eye, imagine how good it feels to start something new and see it to completion. For a minute or two, close your eyes and picture a colorful calendar. Watch yourself as you check off each day of the cleanse with a green marker. Let the joy wash over you as you usher your accomplishment into your tissues. You did it! Now open your eyes and know that you will do it, to the best of your ability at this time. The only failure is inaction.

Allow me to let go of the restraints and get out of my own way. I am as free as I will let myself be, and I could really use a gentle reminder (and perhaps a flick on the patooskies.)

If you're jonzing for a frappuccino or a Cinnabon, here are a few Crazy Sexy tips to ride the wave of the crave without falling into the ocean:
o Have a snack that's high in protein and some fat, such as nuts, seeds, and avocado.
o Sip a hot herbal tea with a bit of stevia or agave.
o Get a satisfying boost from a zesty lemonade made with a couple of freshly squeezed lemons, stevia, and mint or berries.
o Juice up a nutrient-packed green drink or smoothie with some good fat in it, like coconut or avocado.
o Enjoy a rice cake with almond butter or a baked sweet potato.
o Go for a small piece (about 1 inch square) of dark chocolate 70% or higher is best. Cacao rocks; carob, too. Savor them.
o Sip some almond milk with cocoa and stevia
