Cooking seperately from your family!

Cooking seperately from my family can be hard! Especially when your fam keeps reminding you that "they aren't on a diet...you are"!! In fact, temptation sets in and taunts me! Thats when determination sets in! I was taught a while ago that there are three levels to reaching a goal...DESIRE,DISCIPLINE,and DELIGHT!! You must have a desire(which is your goal),you must be disciplined to reach it(diet, exercise, and personal time that releases and eliminates stress),and then you attain the delight level(your reward for being disciplined, which is weight loss and all the goodies that comes with triumph)!!

So the next time you cook a slamming meal for your family, that you dare not eat, remember the 3 D's...DESIRE,DISCIPLINE and DELIGHT! Trust me,it works! #FightingTemptation

hi, thanks for the add and the advice.....I try to encourage my family to follow my lead because they too need to adopt this healthy lifestyle that we share..........otherwise they will be blaming us for their weight gain in the long run...........

This is true! I've cut out alot of things I used to buy for my kids. For example, juices with alot of sugar, cakes and doughnuts, sodas, and so on. I replaced them with 100% juices,100 calorie snacks, baked chips, and Skinny Cow ice cream! LOL! They don't know the difference! Although they are "slim jims", a healthy diet is imperative for growing teens. I even got my daughter drinking water! Thats a miracle! Lol!
