Stage 1 Worries

Okay, before I started this program, I lifted fairly heavily for about an hour 3 times a week. After lifting, I would be fairly sore the next day which I took as a good sign. Anyway, I've been doing this program for two weeks and I'm increasing my weight, but I'm very rarely sore after a workout. Is this okay??? I just want to make sure that I'm making progress here or should I go back to doing what I was doing before???

I don't get sore but I am lifting to failure and I am getting stronger.
If the same is true for you I wouldn't worry.

Yes, it's okay. If you're increasing the weight, you're making progress. If the last rep isn't very difficult to complete, you're not lifting heavy enough.

I'm in this boat too. Glad to know others are as well.

I have noticed that as well...I think it has to do with the protein drink. I wasn't using one after lifting prior to starting this program but since it is part of the program I have been having one after every workout.

I'm the same way - felt like I had worked out hard - and at the end of each said to myself "Yay - I'm going to be sore tomorrow!!" but never more than just a little bit stiff...
