This week's goal: Improve on your previous weeks!
Water: 7/7
Food: 6/7
Exercise: 90 minutes Cardio, 60 minutes Strength, 10 minutes Stretching
The changes from last week are the attempt to get water everyday this week, and to add 10 minutes of stretches to your exercise routine.

cool stretching is so important and I have not been doing it! Did you know that a good stretch routine can add 20% more umph to your work out results? Muscles like it!0

I have also heard that each stretch should be held for a full 20 seconds.
I am still trying to figure this out. Can somone help me?

Hey everyone! I have been so bleh these last few days... I am trying to get better. Totally blew my food yesterday. Yay Ben & Jerry's. Ugh. I'm making up for it today. Lots of exercise today!
Stretches should be done following a workout, warm muscles are less likely to be overstretched and are more "pliable" following a workout. Each stationary stretch should be held a minimum of 20 seconds (5 breaths). Give the muscles time to adjust and stretch before moving on to the next stretch.

ok yesterday I am afraid i didn't excersize, it was a day off. But my cals and water were good.
Today I am on track with excersize, stretching, food and water will be done by sleep time yay! 1 more pound gone today0 -
Woo hoo Rachel! Keep them pounds peeling off!
Never worry about taking a day off. You are allowed to! Exercise does not have to be an every day thing. Sometimes our bodies just need a day off!
Yesterday was my intense workout day. Today, all yoga! My body needs the break. Yoga is still a great workout, just a different focus. My BF is really upset about needing a day off from exercise. I told him it's ok, everyone needs some rest time. He comes back with but you aren't. I'm a different case! Plus I took several days off last week, and just don't need it as bad this week. And I'm 12 years younger, so of course I can do more! Silly boy...0 -
I'm hanging in with the water and exercise; drinking so much water has been great at helping with pollen allergies which I think are overtaking everyone around me. Meeting calorie goals has been off and on, but in the big picture I'm getting really close to my 1300 calorie goal each day and I'm definitely making good food choices even if I go a bit over. Big exercise day yesterday, so lots of water. Pizza is on the menu tonight, so have to keep my lunch and snacks in check. Wish me luck! Gotta get the stretching in this afternoon. I've been quite remiss on that goal.0

Only a little over 2 weeks to go left in this challenge! You are all doing great! Congrats to you who've stuck with us!
I am TIRED today. And HUNGRY. Not sure about the hungry but I know why I'm tired. Haven't had a good night's rest all week. And yoga was extra challenging last night. There were only 2 of us in the class, and we're both able to do more advanced moves, so we did them! I did my first completely unassisted shoulder stand! I am so please with that. But I am really feeling it today! LOL! I love a good workout.0 -
So I am really happy I re- joined curves this week! Getting the stregnth training and stretching in 3 x days per week and aerobics and laid-back yoga with the kids at home. Unfortunately I gained 4 oz.... my first gain since I started almost 2 months ago. N?ot sure what happened, but I have a sold so I wonder if its related. I have been inconsitent with getting all of my water in.. a coupl eof days its only been 8-9 x 8oz, which is silly because its so easy to do.
Oh well... on ward and upward (or downward )
food 7/7
excersize a/ 110 s/60 stretching/20
water 5/70 -
I've been horribly sick ALL week so I pretty much sucked at everything. Except staying within my cals....not very much of appetite this week:(0
