Okay I just did workout 4 for the first time. The hollowman made me want to cry. I literally thought my abs were ripping....I know this shouldn't be easy to do, but with a past c-section is it possible I could be causing damage or is it just that I have never worked my abs this hard and this is just what is needed??

It's super hard for me too. I can't do it the whole time and sometimes I do bicycles instead...

i get annoyed when she says things like "squirms - these are really hard" after you've done hollowman. hollowman is seriously like the hardest ab move i've had to do and its always been in her stinking dvds - i also hate pike crunches and boat pose - all jillian moves. i have trouble wanting to push my abs out when doing ab work and she always says not to do that, so maybe try focusing on bringing your bellybutton in. i also start hollowman out like she does where she lifts her legs (and they are bent) then leans back and lowers her back and legs... my shoulders and legs are pretty high in the air too....

I've had 2 csections, the most recent one being 9 months ago. How long ago was your csection? As long as you have been cleared for exercises I'm sure you aren't damaging anything. Hollow mans burn for me but it feels good!

My csection was 17 years ago. However I have had numbness and burning around the lower ABS ever since. I guess I just need to push thru it. The muscles must just be that weak!
