Love both of your lists! I'm still re-loading music onto my ipod. Right now, I have 70's-90's music - mostly 80's. I need to add more music and then I will start creating playlists. I usually run early in the morning and I want most of my music fast and loud - with an occasional soft, slow song.

When I run outside I usually don't listen to music. I take my dog with me and I like to be aware of what is going on around me. When I run on the treadmill or when I am doing strength training I listen to my music. Sometimes the hard, fast music in my list is exactly what I need for that one last rep.
