I have a question about your opinions on the number of grams of carbs I should eat for fat loss. I was trying to stay below 50, but it seems like I have to cut out my regular amount of veggies to stay below that. What has worked for you?

I was considering the same thing!!! When I was Paleo, I was eating clean and losing weight with some fruit and loads of veggies. Now, going lower carb, I'm having a harder time losing weight......I'm thinking I'm going back to eating clean, keeping an eye on the sugar total, and staying below 25% Carb.....at that point, the weight was coming off rapidly.....and that was about 60g carbs for me. :flowerforyou:

I have been eating low carb for a few months.. Look, research, ask.. You will find plenty to eat and good things to eat low carb.
Less fruit, its a sweet treat to me now.
Veggies have carbs but if you look there are lots to eat.
    Think of veggis this way.
Tops of plants - broccoli florets and cauliflower are tops low carbs
Stalks of plants - celery is a mid-level carb
root plants - potato, carrot, sweet potato are all high carbs..
Find the most veggies that are top and some mid and you will find lots to eat
    Hope this helps..

The number of carbs is directly up to the individual's tolerance. Some people can lose fat on 500g of carbs, some people its 50g. But I would suggest starting at a low number and slowly introducing more carbs into your diet, sorta like the atkins approach. I would say its much better to "over-eat" carbs from green veggies than it is to over-eat them from grains. Also you need to be careful about non-carb foods as well. If you eat adequate protein, then your appetite should be better controlled than if you eat too little and replace it with more fat. Also eat more healthy fats like omega-3, monounsaturated (olive oil), saturated, and lower the amount of omega-6 polyunsaturated like vegetable oil (ie. soybean oil).
