Hello everyone!! I've been a member of MFP for over a year now but just now found the groups. lol I have begun to train for my first 5k. I'm nervous and want to do this right. I've downloaded a couch to 5k app and I'm ready to go. Any advice is welcome.
I am a 35 year old college student (again) with one teen son. Married for 12 years. I live with an autoimmune disease Lupus which makes it hard for me at times to do exercise. My fingers are crossed.

Welcome! My best advice it...well...JUST DO IT!! When you are feeling like not running or working out, just get up and do it. It will increase your energy and your body performance! We are all here for you and here for encouragement!0 -
Thanks guys!!! It means a lot to me that you gave me advice!!! I did Day 1 of Week 1 yesterday!! It was easier than I thought it was going to be.
I'm scared of the later weeks!!!
