Just started using MyFitnessPal to lose my last 10lbs.
I've never used one of these sites and wanted to know if anyone had some insights on how to get the most out of MyFitnessPal.com.

Really excited to have joined and would love any suggestions!

    Glad to have you here jes. First of all you made a good decision by joining us. This is a wonderful, helpful site. I also have about 10 more pounds to go.

    Be sure to log in daily. Enter all your foods and exercises. Please be active in groups and threads. This is where you will find so much help. Search around til you find an area where you are receiving the most support. Make some friends and stay in contact with them. I hope that your journey will be made easier and more fun by being here.

    Hi!

    I've been using MFP since January. Logging daily has been hugely helpful to me - even on terrible days. Plus, MFP remembers what you eat, so logging gets easier after a few weeks.

    I have learned a lot from the site and the people on it. The last 10 lbs are the hardest. I realized that it wasn't the pounds that mattered so much as body composition, but it took me a long time to realize that. Now I am lifting heavy and eating 1800 calories per day (more on the 3 days I lift). Still don't know if this will work for me but I get a lot of support and ideas from MFP.
