I am rethinking eating exercise calories

So, I'm one of those people that eat hardly anything, workout like crazy and don't lose weight. There are many of us here :tongue: !

I met with some friends last night and found out that one of them has Reverse T3 -- I said "so do I"... she said, I got it from doing intense cardio and not eating enough calories. My metabolism shut down. She is getting rid of it by laying off the exercise for a few months. WOW!! Lights came on in my little pea brain!!

I'm currently on a very low calorie, medically supervised diet -- they don't really want me to exercise, but being a pea brain, I continued to do exercise and stopped losing weight -- the doctor called me on the carpet telling me that if I am going to exercise, I have to eat back the calories or my metabolism will stall -- which is what got me in this situation to begin with!!

So, I am now eating back all my calories -- as soon as I started, the weight loss picked up again!! So, ladies and gents -- don't starve yourself! We need to eat clean, make sure you eat protein with every meal, keep away from sugar and simple carbs, but EAT!! I still believe we should not eat any processed foods - if it comes in a box or bag, don't eat it.
What have you got to lose, except weight???
