For those of you that have done more than 1 round of Insanity...did you redo the Recovery week between round 1 & 2 or did you just go straight back into the month 1 workouts? I'm going to finish my 1st round this weekend and want to start a 2nd round but not sure if I should do a recovery week or just jump back in. Any thoughts?!

    * I'm only on day 6 but here is my opinion;

    Experts say rest is important but after doing the Cardio Recovery on day 4, I have to say it almost felt like a waste of my time. For a yoga-type exercise that was barely 100 calories burned. 5 days of the week (which includes my 1 rest day) I still do a long walk (40-60 min) burning almost 200 cals with little to no impact on my joints in addition to Insanity so personally, when I get to the 1-week of Cardio Recovery I might have to sick in some Turbo Jam or something there to help work my arms/back more and to burn some real cals so that I won't have to stick as tightly to the 1200 cal mark. If you are headed into round 2, I would suggest doing Cardio Recovery ever OTHER day and do something more intense, even the treadmill in between.

    Actually during the recovery week you do the Core Cardio & Balance workout for the full week. It's a much less intense workout but still a decent workout! I'm just trying to decide if I should take that break or just jump back in!

    Great job making it to day 6! It truly is a great program IMO!

    Ha ha, good thing I prefaced my posting with "I'm only on day 6" I obviously looked at the calendar for the future too quickly, oops!

    If thats the case and its not a "just stretching" workout then I would say take the week to do it and then begin again. Don't forget to post your B&A success photos for the group!
