Counseling!

I'm a counselor and most days I sit in my office for at least 60-75% of the day, recently I purchased a pedometer and challenged myself to get 10,000 steps done before I get home. It's made a difference most days I get between 7-8 thousand, but that's more than I ususally did. I noticed I started taking the stairs more, or ran errands at lunch time that made me walk, or chose to walk instead of drive so I could get some more steps in. Sometimes, I just get up and take a walk around my office! I don't have time in the afternoons to go to the gym (got a 3y/o and 6mth old) so I try to do as much as I can during my work day.

Try it, it helps!
