I wonder if anyone can give me some ideas for snack/breakfasts, I have been trying to keep my carbS to below 40%, find it quite easy for a meal, meat and veg/salad, fish and veg/salad, its the snacks and breakfasts i have difficulty with.
I cant eat heavy creams or cheese and can manage about 1 egg a month, i have to take skimmed milk and 0% yogurts as this through trial and error throughout the years has been ok. My diary is open. I am female, 42 yrs, 4ft 10, with now 40lbs to lose have lost 23lbs since jan1st
many thanks

Another shorty! I'm 4'10.5" Gotta get the 1/2 inch in there.

Can you eat nuts? I often will eat 10 almonds which have about 100 cals.

    Peanut butter in celery.

    Carrots and hummus.

I do protein powder (chocolate) in my coffee in the morning for breakfast. High protein, low carb, no dairy!

I just want to say that you are an amazing woman for sticking to low carb with a dairy intolerance. Cheese and eggs get me through low carb without cheating. My body actually HATES cow milk. I blow up like a hot air balloon. So I use almond or coconut milk. Besides that, no other dairy bothers me.

My snacks (minus my beloved cheese sticks) are almonds, pistachios, or cashews, edamame (maybe not the lowest carb thing out there but I have it about once a month), sugar-free Jell-O, fruit, or homemade cookies.
