Trying to not get discouraged

Last week I put on a pair of pants and could tell that they were looser. Then Saturday and Sunday didn't eat well. Today I put the same pants on and had to take them off because they were too tight. I am trying to stay positive and not get down. I'm so tired of letting food control me. Why do I binge when it makes me so unhappy??? Still trying to figure it out.

    oh my gosh - isnt' that it - I know how horrible I am going to feel the next day (& how great I feel when I don't) and I just keep right on at it. Don't get discouraged - last week, if they don't fit today it's just water & your body being out of whack (how does my body possibly process all that food at once - am I doing long-term damage - of course I'm going to be bloated the next day) I wish I had answer for you (us!) all I want is balance! make a plan going foward, that helps pull me out of that funk you get in afterwards, a few days of eating well and I'm sure those pants will fit again!

    I know this feeling all too well! Why DO we do it when we know we're going to hate ourselves after?! I'm wondering if it's a catalyst for something else, somewhere else in our lives we feel we're not measuring up and it manifests in our "relationship" with food? I don't know! It is so immensely discouraging though. Try to keep your chin up! Go out and do some cardio. A little bit of endorphins should make you feel a little better! And yes, make a plan and remember tomorrow is a new day and you get to start fresh! :flowerforyou:

    The good news is that the pants will fit again in a few days if you just moderate your intake again. I am trying to up my intake and have fun foods a little to prevent going on binges. I think restricting too much tends to cause binges. At least some of the cause anyway.
