 I am 32 years old and a single mom of two. I see a doc for my weightloss. I i went searching online and found out there is something called a deficit after a few day i kind of understood what it meant . Although doc has me on 1200 and i workout im clueless on what to add and subtract to continue my loss. I burn so called 427 with tao bo and about the same with the elliptical and im unusure of do i eat more on these days or. keep it all the same it would be so much easier if someone could explain it better so im not constantly checking and freaking out to make sure i maintain weight loss and not gain

That is why I like applications such as MyFitnessPal. I can put in my calories that I have consumed and also the exercises I have done for the day. The application does the math for you. You can eat more on days you work out. Honestly, for me, after awhile of doing this, the urge to eat more on those days starts to diminish. So....with your example of burning 427 calories, the app will add that to your daily calorie allowance and you would be able to eat 427 calories more and still be within your goal. The big decider is how you set up your goals. For me, I selected 'sedentary' and selected that I do not work out at all. For now, I also put that I want to maintain my current weight. This shows me how many calories I can eat if I do nothing for activity and still not gain or lose weight. I am starting a competition at work for weight loss on the 2nd of next month, at which time I am going to adjust the application to show me the calories I can eat daily for a 2 pound a week weight loss. I have been successful with losing about 30 pounds before doing this. Getting ready to go at it hard again!!
