Hi all!
I didn't see an intro thread, so I thought I'd start one!
I am just starting the program. I eased myself into it last week by only doing 20 minutes of Level 1 for three days, but I am now dedicated to doing the full 40 min routine every day!
I currently weigh about 165 lbs (fluctuates a little, plus my scale seems to be quite forgiving) and love to do yoga and dance. I have very little ab strength; I'm tall and slouch, and hardly ever engage my abs throughout the day. Wait a sec: I used to hardly ever engage my abs throughout the day. : ) I am hoping that the 6 week ab workout will not only tone my body, but improve my posture and break my (previous) habit of not engaging my core. I am not considering having children any time soon, but I have heard that strong core muscles are crucial for a comfortable pregnancy with limited back problems.
I am very excited to be a part of this group! I look forward to celebrating our successes together!
