A1C monitors worth buying?

I've been trying to decide if I should buy one of these monitors. Has anyone purchased one and how do you like it? What are the best brands and price?

If you're testing your blood sugar daily and are within the normal range, you don't need to waste the money on a kit. Especially if you're getting it done at the doctor/lab twice a year as recommended for normal daily readings. If not, or if you've recently changed your meds/dose) than it would be a good idea to purchase the kit. They're relatively inexpensive, $29.99 for a 2 test kit box, and can be found at your local chain drugstore such as CVS. Good luck.0
