Plateau?

Has any one ever hit a plateau? If so what did it take to overcome it, and how long did it last?

I''m only on my second week. lost 6lb with in the first few days but remained the same ever since.
Does that count as a plateau? It's frustrating as hell!

To be honest I don't think it's a plateau, well done on ur 6 lbs that's amazing!! When u change the way u eat and exercise your body will eventually adapt so your first week is generally a gd loss then the week or 2 after might find u stay the same or loose alot less. 1-2 lbs a week is a gd loss. U have to create a calorie deficit of 3500 over a week to loose 1lb that week so it's not easy!! Good luck with it all and don't worry if ur eating right n exercising u will loose0

EXCELLENT!! Thank you so much for that!! I was thinking it was just me and hitting 40 which meant it was going to be a lot tougher to lose.
