Hi everyone,

I am starting NROL4W tomorrow (Yay!). I was wondering with all of the different calorie goals on different days (work out day vs non workout days) do you change your goals in MFP daily? How do you use MFP to your benefit in this regard? TIA for the help!

When I started, I was near goal weight. I set mine for BMR+300 cal, and ate my exercise cals. If you are still losing, go for a modest deficit overall, and eat your exercise cals on lifting days. (You'll want them, trust me!) That sort of gets you to what he suggests in the book.

Just remember to take pics and measurements, and throw the scale in a closet. Your scale weight just became the least meaningful measure of your progress.

And BTW...welcome to NROLW! You're gonna love it!

I don't change my goals daily - I figured the easiest way was to calculate how many calories I needed from the book first, then set the lower number as my goal on MFP, then add the extra calories on workout days as a cardio exercise that I label "Strength Training" and just eat those calories back. Make sense?
