I was recently in the same situation and I broke it off...I figured that if I was actually into him romantically, I wouldn't be so annoyed by the submissive behavior.

I should mention that I'm not annoyed by his behavior, not yet anyways. I just wanted to ask opinions on the situation. I will give it a bit more time as he could be different once he is comfortable with someone, but I doubt it. If nothing else, I'll have made a new friend.

I'll tell you what, a girl I was with had to "guide" my hands or encourage me initially in bed for that, but then after I was happily playing along (perhaps hesitant at first, then less and less over time).
I guess it's hard to know which girl wants what when you're a man, and some girls won't like this at all, so it's always a fine line.
I know some men are incapable of doing any of this though, so it might not be enough. I know also I'd rather meet a girl who expects a bit of this in bed, it's more fun.

Nah, chicks just don't like *****es that lack confidence. If I'm not mistaken, the same is true for men.
