and I'm a triathlon addict.
Literally went down to Texas 70.3 this weekend to spectate/volunteer. I was shaking I wanted to race so bad. I need help. LOL.

I was watching it live online! I about flipped out when the broadcast cut out right near the end!! RRRRrrrrrrrrrggggggggg!
I need help too.
It made me sign up for the half Ironman in DC. (new venue).0 -
That's what I heard about the broadcast. I was too busy chasing the 50+ or so folks I knew racing around.
BTW I never noticed what a freaking mess the mount/dismount area is. Freaking NASCARish. Surprised more people don't get seriously hurt there.0 -
You don't need help! You need a race day!
And, yes, spectating a triathlon has a different feel than watching, say, a baseball game. A traditional sports event makes you savor the joy of watching other people compete. Spectating a triathlon makes you savor the chance to do it yourself. It's much more personal, engrossing, inclusive.0 -
I was almost knocked off my bike while coming out of mount. I do a flying mount and some guy came running out with his bike and stopped in front of me. It was nuts.
You need to come up to Ironman Kansas 70.3. It's next on my list followed by Ironman Louisville. Get busy!0 -

I'd love to. I'm on a strict budget for the rest of the year though. But next year we'll have all our credit cards paid off and look out. I'm trying to figure out which full to hit next year.0
