April - How are you all doing?

Hi everyone,
I hope you all still have your momentum for this challenge.
Come on folks we have now entered April half way to our challenge.
20 lbs may be out of reach for some of us, As you know taking part is what counts.
Keep in touch in the group section because it's great to hear how you are all progressing.

I had a plateau for about a week, but I am back on track. Just adjusted my MFP daily calorie count down 200...think I was over estimating my daily activity ( I do sit at the computer for many hours on most days unless I teaching or consulting)
Any way 12 down and 8 to go...I think I will get close
If not, I have made great progress and met lots of wonderful MFP friends :happy:0 -
I've lost 4 since the challenge started. But 14 in total. It's exciting just feeling my clothes getting looser, and the numbers on the measuring tape getting smaller.0

Since March I have lost 2.2kilos --- that would be roughly 4.8 in pounds
Not dropping it too quickly but happy with the results!0 -

Well, since I've lost 4.4 #, not quite what I wanted... but, it is progress.
I've stepped up my cardio some, started the C25k, I'm on Wk2, d2.
And... I've started the 30DS for the second time. I'm now on Level 1, d2.
I just hope I can keep it up and get through it all.0 -

Well done folks you are great!
Why don't you try something different to give yourselves another kick start after the Easter Holidays..
Increase your calories burn.
I try to do that little bit extra to round up my calories burned to a nice round number.
This pushes me to do that little bit extra. Then I try to round up my exercise time.
Drink more water
I need to do this more often.
I've started putting bottles of water in the ice box at work so I can have a slushy cold drink.
Try a different exercise
How about scuba diving, bungee jumping, hand gliding lol, just kidding. You know what I mean..something you
haven't tried but are now fit enough do. This includes muscle toning exercises.

I've just lost 6.5 pounds so far and to be honest that's good for me. No way can I lose nearly 2 stones by May.
I'm happy with the NSV's I got with the 6.5 lb loss. :bigsmile:0 -
I am currently stuck! I need to make changes:sad: It might be a bit too much to start bungee jumping though0

I have one week left of the 20 lb challenge by May. Sadly I will not be able to say I have lost 20 Lb.
I am happy that it has helped motivate me in losing more weight than I ever had since joining this site.
