How is everyone doing?? Warning: Stretch MORE

I recall learning from my Team in Training leaders that you must stretch a muscle for over 10 seconds, 15-20 at least or its just a tease. On 30DS, she stops about 3 secs for some stretches. I just wanted to see if anyone else was doing the stretching for longer? I have not been exercising except dog walking for months and months, and am on day 6 (yay) of 30 DS, going 30 days straight. I have stretched for much longer and do an extra calf stretch as well and really am not very sore at all and have been able to do it each day. So far I've done 4 days level 1 and 2 days level 2. Level 2 kicked my butt! So i will alternate for a few days.
How is everyone doing??

Stretching more before/after definitely seemed to help me with the soreness I felt after L1 D1. The morning after my whole body just ACHED! I was so sore, mostly around my shoulders and hips for some reason. So after that day's workout, I stretched more, and definitely felt better the following day. I mean, I was still sore, but that "good" sore - not the "ohmygoddon'tmove" kind of sore.
Today will be L1 D4 for me...things are going pretty well thus far, though I haven't done today's yet so we shall see if it's easier than yesterday Definitely still a workout, but I find the moves a bit easier than I did on D1!0 -
Yes, I definetly add more stretching before I start.0

I need to add more stretching. I thought about doing a gentle yoga workout right after the Shred.0

I stretch right after the workout for about an additional 5 min. It really helps. Then I take my dogs for a 20 min walk, so that helps too.0

I do more at the end mostly. I have hardly been sore. My old coach said that if you let that stretch go 15 seconds, slow realy seconds, you'll hear the muscle cheer and want to keep it a bit longer...
I tried level 3 just to see how hard it was, what a joke! I will stick to level 1 and 2 for now...its only been a week so...0
