Hi, im Amanda from Sydney, I've been using the MyFitnessPal app for a few months now and loving it =) tonight I just discovered there is a website with chats messages blogs and more =) loving it even more now

I'm happy for the add requests so please feel free =) I'm nice and friendly and could be quite helpful as I've learnt a lot through my own journey

Well I've now lost a bit over 20kgs but I've hit a Plato and can't seem to work out a way to get our of it, I have tried both less and more calorie intake and I have uped my fitness level but still getting low results, I'm happy to still get a loss but would like to see a better loss

Can anyone help with some tips or advice

    HI Amanda,

What sort of training are you doing currently?
You could try varying your training, adding some weight lifting to your routine.
You've done an awesome job to date.

    HI Amanda.

Is it possible to open up your food diary so we can give advice?

Ditto to what Mauri said. Knowing what you are doing will really help us to help you.

If you are not already doing strength training, you should start doing it. And no YOU WILL NOT BULK UP. Muscle makes you lean. It will also burn fat a lot faster.

    I'd also suggest interval training.

Well done on your journey so far.

Loss of 22 kilos is not to be sneezed at....Congratulations. Stay on this healthy journey. Closer you get to milestone, slower it gets..... I haven't lost a kilo in over a month and a-okay with it. We're not on a diet...we're here to move away from what brought us here..bad eating habits. Topic has been discussed by so many..use search function. CONGRATULATIONS! :flowerforyou:

    Hi Amanda,

Congratulations on your loss so far! That's awesome...

As for stalling... maybe you just need to "change it up" a bit. Shock your body a bit. Whatever you have been doing, change it (ie. exercise)... Considering you have upped your fitness, that's great.. so now you can do more challenging things and hopefully help lose those last bits... Have you done any HIIT? That's been scientifically proven to help lose weight in a shorter exercise timeframe...

Feel free to add me as a friend. I'm also in Sydney (though on holidays in Brisbane at the moment).

    Hayley :)
