Titanic Failure

So the other day the wife drags me off to see Titanic in 3D, alrighty I confess I did not put my whole efforts into resisting the idea. Overall a good movie and even though I am not a fan of the 3D fad, this one actually pulled it off. My issue is the Nickel plated Colt M1911A1 that the character Spicer Lovejoy {David Warner} is carrying. Why did you do this to us Cameron, did you really think that it would go unnoticed. The Colt M1911 was just being introduced in the American markets it would have been extremely rare in the European market and it would have been even rarer for it to be that ornately adorned, not to mention that the A1 modifications were not made until 1926. I am not saying that it is not a beautiful piece of art and would not kick it out of my gun collection but since you took the time to accurately portray the other weapons of the period Webley Mk I that was common amongst the British Military Officers {I believe they were using FN 1900’s}. I was not familiar with the pocket pistol the Porter used to hold back the Steerage passengers. Okay my rant is now over.

Dont even get me started on the massive amounts of gun fail that occurs in movies...0

One of the worst I saw was years ago, a guy shoots off a round and it shows it going in slow motion across the screen. The bullet was the casing and all.0

Or how about how James Bond can pick off bad guys with one shot each and NEVER get shot even though all of them are shooting at him?
Edited for typo.0
