I was fine. I got new running shoes to see me throughc25k early on, and then, week 5, run 3 left me with a blister. I think it was actually started by a bit of sock, but I've been dumb and since then have kept forgetting to whack a plaster on it, so it's gotten increasingly bigger! It's on the inside of my arch.

So, what are people's best recommendations for how to deal with running blisters? I'm hoping that (remembering!) to put a plaster over it when I run will let it heal, then the problem will be fixed. Are there any other remedies that actually work well?

When I get blisters, I try a few things...

Plasters, band-aids made specifically for blisters, and lambs wool. I think the lambs wool might work since the blister is in the arch of your foot...

You can get it at most drug stores - usually around the foot care section... (I think it's the stuff ballerinas put in the tip of their toe shoes.)

If that doesn't provide enough cushion and it is really bothering you or getting larger... you may need to take a little time off to let it heal.

Edited to Say: Also look into really good running socks! Makes all the difference!
