Hi everyone, on this site just looking for a lil support and encouragement. I am post op rny a lil over 2 years. From my highest weight I have lost over 200, but I have yet to reach goal which is around 199. I am really trying hard to lose the last 80 something pounds. I have considered the 5 day pouch test as a reset. Any suggestions?

    Are you tracking your food here? Watch your carbs and stay away from simple carbs like breads and potatoes. Get your protein up and exercise. also, do not drink for an hour after eating. This is what always helps me. I had RNY 3.5 years ago and have lost and kept off 200 pounds. You can do it!!

    elaborate on this 5 day test....otherwise you LOOK MARVELOUS!!!!!! track your food, drink that water and get your exercise and you will meet your goal. Oh and whenever the need arises, come to us and vent vent vent....I post blogs when I vent or want to eat.

    YOu can and you will do this. I have faith in you

  • Thanks everyone, supposedly the 5 day pouch test is to help us be more aware of our pouch and kick the carb craving. It's similar to eating how we ate post rny surgery. Google or YouTube for more info
