Hi,
Last year I joined myfitnesspal and I was very diligent about using it and list over 15 lbs. Now it is a full year from when I was at my lowest weight and I have gained it all back. I am trying to work back and need new things to try. Any suggestions?

I mix it up between stair master, treadmill and bike. I have been faithful to my work out its the eating that I struggle with. I come from a family that when they get together we have enough food there to feed an army, so food is always present while the self-control isn't always there.0

Ya I know what you mean. My family is the same and i was taught to clean cause you can't waist food. I started drinking a lot of water during the whole day and before and durning dinner. It's hard cause I love food but remind yourself of your goals. Stay strong and little by little it gets better.0

Same thing happens to me. There is always something, a party, a communion, wedding, or a "hey let's hang out and we can order pizza and wings and potato wedges" get-together, etc. I struggle the most with these gatherings too.
My advice to you is: try to hold a water bottle or large glass of water in your hands at all times. Keep sipping it (refill when empty)and if there are healthy choices, such as a vegetable tray or a tossed garden salad, fill your plate with that first, rather than the lasagna or pizza. It works most times and it works a bit better during the summer months when everyone is outside with a beer in their hands and you with your bottle (of water) too.0
