I am just about done with my 4 workouts for stage 2... for some reason, I don't feel like I've improved much... what are everyone's thoughts on re-doing stage 2 for another 4 workouts each (totaling 8 workouts)... I just don't feel like I've gained as much as I did with Stage 1..

Has anyone done this or can anyone offer advice?

I would continue to stage 3. You will repeat the exercises from stage 2 in stage 4.

I was disappointed with my weight increases, eg. the front squat push press i went from 14kg to only 16kg, but i felt i improved my form on a lot of things.

But it's only a 3.5 week section without big lifts, it's not meant to have the big lifting gains we had in stage 1. Keep going to stage 3, and as bizco says, the same moves come back in stage 4. You wouldn't want to be sick of them by then would ya?!

I'm taking a much needed week off this time, starting stage 3 next week.

I haven't had much in the way of improvements, either, but I figure I'll just continue on to Stage 3. I'm guessing the focus on huge gains in Stage 1 (and the AMRAP for the ego boost at the end) was to hook us/sustain enough that we push through Stage 2 -- this is probably more of a "foundation" stage than a "woohoo big gains" stage!
