I'm starting tomorrow and I'm so not a runner. Good luck, my friend.

    I just started last week!

    - Have good comfy running shoes- if you can get fitted for some, do that (I haven't yet).
    - I have a free C25k app on my ipod- very helpful. I also bought an armband on ebay for $4.87 so I can wear my ipod.
    - When it's time to "run"- don't worry about running fast. Take your time- it's not a race, and you'll build your endurance as you go.

    I'm 7 weeks in...here are a few pointers... :)

    1) Invest in running shoes. If you're going to start seriously running, your feet will thank you!
    2) Jog slowly. I'm still jogging at about 4.5 mph. Snails could pass me. But the endurance is so much better when you pace yourself!
    3) Try to develop a breathing pattern that works for you. It makes all the difference. You can find tips about breathing patterns on many websites!

Good luck, you can do it! And friend me if you'd like...I am always posting about my c25k victories!
