Ways to Play

For me, one of the best parts of a paleo lifestyle is the shift of how I view "exercise".
I admit, I can't give up my chronic-cardio. But, I keep doing it bcause I genuinely LOVE a long, steady-paced jog. To me, it's a form of play. But beyond my more conventional excercise habits, I have found that this mind set really encourages me to stay active and PLAY in my free time. (in addition to doing more lifting that I used to on my own. but honestly I get a lot of that at work, as my job includes frequent heavy lifting)

What are your favorite ways to play?

I hula-hoop daily. (my living room furniture is arranged to allow for indoor hooping). I can't do any fancy tricks, but I've made it past an hour without dropping th hoop!
I also love to go disc-golfing, leisure biking, and the fiance always wants to go ice skating (and I like it too)!

    I like bike riding, roller skating, and carpentry (my new hobby that is a work out in and of itself since I dont have any power tools).
