Hi I'm Kate. I just started the C25k program and needed some support. I started it monday this week and completed day 2 of week one today. I have asthma that I'm trying to get off the medication for because its too expensive. I talked to the doctor and they said the fastest way to strength the lungs is to start a running program. So here I am. I've never been a runner and I didn't play any sports in high school. This is the most physically active I've been in my life.
I could use some support from people who have done this program and are finished with it or even starting out with it like myself.

Welcome Miss Kate! My name is Katie I am alot like you in the sense that I have never exercised more than I have in the last month. I am on Week 3 Day 3 and love it! It is very hard starting a new week, but after you get it done, you feel full of energy and excited for the next walk/run. I have found it is good to run at a slower pace. This helps with endurance and keeps me wanting to come back for more!
