I checked on SL website at first and I was little confused about for women. Thank you. This is better. I will learn to stick to it.

I'm a real noob to this, so please bear with me.

Stronglifts suggests starting a 45lb (bar weight) as a starting point for me. So how much weight should I use for my warm up? Do I even need to warm up if that's my max weight for the session?

Here's a link to answer your very question: http://stronglifts.com/stronglifts-5x5-warm-up-empty-bar-work-weight/

However, I found that 45 was way too much for me. I have a 15# bar and started with a 25# ww which was probably too light, but oh well. I still got sore after that first workout. You progress rather quickly on this program, though.
