So the scale doesn't matter?

So do I change my TDEE based on what the scale says? If so, how often do I do so?

You can recalculate every 5lbs down.

If you track your weight daily, here is a nice tool... https://www.fourmilab.ch/cgi-bin/HackDiet

Hope you read the "What to expect when upping your calories" or the title is something like that at the top of the group topics...anyway, the spreadsheet will show you how you are trending...the thing I LOVE is I finally figured out what causes my flutuations...but it is nice to see it on the graph. Note each day what happened the day before...literally...if constipated, great "movement", heavy lift back, bis, Leg workout, high sodium, etc...I literally log what is going on and I tell you it goes right with what is happening the day before.
