Hi

I've just joined a gym. Why? Because I can;t afford a PT anymore and I was borrowing her weights to do Chalean with! Its a budget gym, so much cheaper than buying the weights I need short term (need the cash to pay off the credit card after the wedding)

I posted on the forum asking for tips of what to do in the gym, but then I realised that Chalean was still perfect. I just need a way to do it in the gym. Has anyone else done this? I have an iPod I could watch on but the screen is tiny!

Help!

  • You could put it on your ipod, but you can also use your book to see which exercises are next, etc. I could see myself doing this.

Good grief! I forgot all about the book. LOL I read it when I first got the DVD but then just put in the study. I am so going to dig it out right now. You are a star!! Thank you sooooo much

Did burn circuit one today at the gym - with my book in front of me, and just the audio from the dvd on my iPod. Worked a treat! Had a few strange looks, but I may just be paranoid, and I didn't worry too much as they were coming from the ladies sat on the gym balls gossiping! LOL

Fingers crossed I can keep it up. Just got to decide what to do for cardio - stay at home and do dvd or use some of the machines, Choices choices!!
  • They'll be running to ask you what you're doing when you can bounce a quarter off of your toned butt lol

Burn Intervals is just.. the best thing ever. I'd do those at home with a light weight. I use 5# and sweat buckets.

Do not let those women get to you! Years ago I would lift in the man cave. I would get weird looks from the extremely made-up ladies in their cute gym clothes.

I used to keep a small notebook in my gym bag so I could track my sets, reps, and weights. I've been tracking my weights for CLX that way although I work out at home. It might be easier than using the large guide.
