I have to go away for work Wednesday to Friday this week - I'm going to take my dvd but I'm flying so can't take my weights, or my trainers.
I'm thinking I can amp up the cardio and the lower body stuff to make up for the fact I won't have my weights. There's so much planking I'm not too worried about my upper body not getting a work out.

I should be starting level 3 on Wednesday , but i'm wondering , should I just continue with level 2 until i get back? I really want to start level 3 but I feel like I wouldn't be doing it justice...

anyone had a sneak peak at level 3 yet?

I haven't looked at Level 3, though I accidentally skipped to the beginning of the DVD yesterday, and had to sit through the introductory stuff, Biggest Loser videos promo, etc. and in the intro, you can see some of the Level 3 workout. It looks intense, but I've heard from a lot of people who've finished 30DS that Level 2 was the hardest for them.

As for traveling, I'd probably stick with Level 2 until you get back. I've been doing the workout barefoot, which I think actually can help your knees, because you're more conscious of your landings from jumps and can really think about absorbing the shock through your toes, heels, ankles, knees, and then hips. (I danced for many years, so that idea is pretty much ingrained in my muscle memory...) Maybe you could buy a couple big bottles of water to use as weights? I only use 3 lb dumbells, so a couple 1.5L bottles of water would be the same weight (1L of water = 1 kg), and you can usually get bottles about that size at convenience stores. :)

Great tip on the landings , will give it a try barefoot and try to focus on absorbing the shock like you said.
Yeah think I will stick to level 2 for now , hopefully will be able to start level 3 on Friday - good idea using water bottles as weights too, thanks ! :)
