cold all the time?

so this may be a stupid question but has anyone had problems staying warm as you lose the the weight? I've noticed for the past three months that I'm cold all the time even when my thin friends and family are normally warm. The house was 77 over the weekend and they were all hot and when my husband turned on the air I needed to go get a blanket. My guess was that I'm used to having 27 pounds of insulation on that I no longer have but I'm just guessing. Has happened to anyone else?

I was told not to worry about it, it is common especially after surgery.0

oh thank goodness I was starting to wonder if I needed to go to the doctor. I'm 4 weeks from surgery so I'll be losing all summer, maybe this will make summer almost pleasant.0

Yup, I'm definitely colder now, such an odd feeling! I'm 8 weeks out now. (woah, time flies!)0

I will have days where I am fine and then other days it feels like it's below zero! It's weird, but I've learned to deal with it.0

I lost over 200 lbs when I had my gastric bypass 18 years ago and yes I am usually cold when others are not and winters are a challenge for me. I live in Louisiana where winters are...... Well I usually say Winter is usually on a Thursday if you know what I mean. I do have to dress warmer than most adding a long sleeve shirt under a regular shirt but it is something I can deal with and a small price to pay.0

I have a lot of friends who have had weight loss surgery and i think i am the only one amongst us who doesn't feel the cold when they do. Dont' get me wrong on a cold day i'm cold, but if the sun's shining my elbows are out enjoying the warmth x0

I am always FREEZING!! My house can be 78 degrees and I start complaining if someone puts on the a/c. I really hope my body will be able to regulate better soon.0
