Calories burned with HRM?

So today was my first day working out with my new HRM. I did Jillian Michales Banish Fat Boost Metabolism for 55 min. My HRM said I burned 627 calories?! I have been loggin the MFP reccomendation around 350. I was worried I was actually burning less but I am burning double. Is that about right? I really was way to few calories than I needed because I wasn't eating back enough of my workout calories. I just want to make sure that sounds right? Thanks!

    I only use my HRM to do my calorie burn recordings. I think it's the most accurate method, as it is monitoring your heart rate the entire time and not going by a calculation. Great burn, btw!

    It sounds high to *me*, lol, but that's because I'm really short and never get burns like that, haha. It may be just fine for your height/weight, since it is *your* HRM, and all of your personal info is entered... :happy:
