going back to eating 1200-1600 calories a day ever again. That is what I did since joining MFP..and since the begining of March when I decided to up my calories it is so much less stressful to not worry about how I am going to juggle calories to fit that small number.

Thank you for having this group, for giving me the links & info to educate myself. I feel so much better knowing I can eat and that I eventually the weight is going to start coming down. Instead of worrying about going over my calories I think about all the options I have..what a nice change of pace! :flowerforyou:

100% agreed. I don't know how I managed to survive on 1500 per day!

Oh man - NO ONE would want to be with a mile radius of me if I had to go back to 1200. hungry + angry = hangry.

    My thoughts EXACTLY!

I think it's the whole less stress thing that just helps everything else fall into place & the fact that it just makes sense : )

Same here! The exhaustion, the anger, the lack of sweating, the lack of hair growth- the overwhelming deep down binging urges...

No way!! I'm done with that.

No kidding... Its 6:35 in the evening here and I still have 1200 MORE calories to eat today instead of trying desperately to figure out what to eat for dinner to keep my UNDER 1200 (rice cakes anyone?)... (Actually, I wish I'd stuffed more down earlier in the day, because 1200 is a lot to cram down between now and bed time.)

Whew...I'm so happy I joined this group! I don't know how many posts I read on how to calculate daily calories and for the life of me could not get it straight (probably cause I was hungry and couldn't think) But today I looked into this group and saw how well explained it was and finally I got it....hooray!!

Upped my cals today soooo I am ready to see this through, taking every bit of knowledge that has poured in through this group as my tools to reach my goal weight + I will soon start lifting and I am so excited to see my transformation!

Thank you so much for helping me get out of the "I am starving" group!
