No DOMS in legs....

Right now I am in Stage 1 and I just finished Workout 4A, I haven't had any DOMS in my legs sense Workout 1A. Today I squatted 95 pounds (highest ever) and it feels like I did nothing at all, same goes with lunges and deadlifts with Workout B. I am using 25 pound dumbbells for lunges and I struggle to finish with that weight, I can also feel the burn in my legs. It's the same thing with deadlifts (it was recommended by a trainer that I do Romanian deadlifts to start with), I can feel the burn DURING the exercise but nothing after. I do not have this problem with my upper body. I had this same problem when I did 30DS, I had soreness the first couple times but nothing for the rest of the program. Does anyone have any insight into this? I know that DOMS does necessarily = a good work out or muscle growth. I also know you can have muscle growth without DOMS but this is just bugging me. Could I just be stronger than I thought? Increase weight and push myself harder?

    I am SO. SORE. Like can't sit to pee sore. It's an awesome feeling. :)

    I'll be doing the last workout for Stage 1 on Monday and I have yet to have DOMS of any significance in either upper or lower body. Some very slight soreness, but nothing at all debilitating or in need of a pain reliever. I've been increasing weight every session and feel the same way you do...burn, but nothing after. I just count my blessings. :wink:

    lucky.. my glutes and hams are practically on perma-DOMS
