This could range from cookbooks to animal cruelty books to whatever (and also new Veg*n children's books lol) - I like to expand my library on things I'm passionate about.

Currently my favorite veg books include:

1) China Study
2) The Sexual Poltics of Meat
3) A Diet for a New America

I like Brendan Brazier's book, Thrive, although not the recipes so much.

I really like Alicia Silverstone's book "The Kind Life." It brings veganism to a really honest level - no guilt if it doesn't happen right away, too!

My fave vegan cookbook is The Voluptuous Vegan. It is decadent!

I really enjoyed Fast Food Nation and The Omnivore's Dilemma for insights into the way the food industry works.
