Hello all my late nighters... I run the roads from 9:00 pm to about 11:00 am so its tough for me and finding a weight loss protocol. I do my best to pack my lunch and bring along healthy snacks. Id love any suggestions and feedback to what works for you. Maybe it will help me too :)

Feel free to add me as a friend

Heres to a great weekend

I've done very similar things... I've been working out on my off days only, because I'm WHOOPED on the days that I work! I've just stuck to the 1700 calorie diet that MFP has suggested, and I'm down 9 pounds so far!! Keep it up, and lay off of the soda! That's another big improvement of mine.

hi! I work 11pm-7am. I pack my lunch and just graze on it through out the night while at my desk.

Hi there. I'm a nurse that works 1930-0800. Nice to see some others that belong to our very selective and crazy group of people. We keep the world safe while the others sleep!

  • I work 10pm-6am and tend to eat my "dinner" around midnight or one. I had been eating at work (they allow us to eat there), but there really hasn't been anything good there lately.

My most diffacult thing is having the energy to work out properly. Graveyard makes it hard to get enough rest.

This is very true. I make sleep my #1 priority. When I lacked sleep I would over eat to stay awake while at work and forget exercise altogether.

Since sometimes life health and wellbeing are in our hands, I vote for sleep too, more often than workout!
Especially when I see in the first night how crazy my unit is or might be due to the week!

Police dispatcher here, work 1900-0700, 7 days of every 14. 12 hours is kinda rough! Especially when you are falling asleep at 3am and the easiest thing to do to stay awake is to make a cup of coffee and eat pop tarts lol.
